Play.com customers are now able to take advantage of a loyalty scheme from the online retailer, through a credit card launched 20 May.
The card offers consumers the chance to collect PlayPoints, which can then be redeemed on some of the 8m goods Play.com has to offer. A customer who spends one pound with the card will receive one PlayPoint -- double if they use the card on Play.com itself.
"We are very excited about the launch of our Play.com credit card this year," said Stuart Rowe, the firm's chief operating officer. "The Play.com card will be another way of rewarding our customers for their ongoing loyalty."
Play.com was launched in 1998 and the Jersey-based firm was one of the first online retailers to target the UK market, selling all kinds of goods from CDs to clothes.
According to Verdict Research, Play.com was Britain's second favourite media retailer at the beginning of the year.
